Can You Take Bottled Water On Carnival Cruise Ships
I always pre-purchase a 12-pack of bottled water and it is there waiting for me in my stateroom upon arrival.
Can you take bottled water on carnival cruise ships. When returning from ports you will have to empty them before boarding but thats no biggie. Before I ever stepped foot on my first cruise ship I put in hours and hours of research. Cruise lines do all they can to make sure each ship feels like your home away from home when you set sail.
They can be purchased through the cruise line as others have mentioned. You may take home any unopened bottles. In spite of that many a cruiser has yearned for extra creature comforts --.
Apparently some time in mid-2015 the decision was made to not allow bottled water to be brought on their ships by guests either by carryon or in baggage given to the porters. You are able to bring canned water like La Croix or even boxed water like these as your soda allowance if your cruise line allows this but plastic bottles are a no-no. Carnival Cruise Lines has announced it will no longer allow passengers to bring non-alcoholic drinks like water onto its ships in America claiming it will prevent alcohol from being smuggled into cabins.
This is because people have been known to sneak alcohol using plastic bottles. Once on board your purchase is non-refundable. Carnival will no longer allow customers to bring bottled water aboard their cruise ships.
Guests who purchase alcohol bottles onboard in a port-of-call or bring more than the two permitted bottles on boarding day will have their items safely stored by the ship. The water will be delivered directly to your stateroom for your convenience. You can of course bring your own personal refillable water bottle like this on board but disposable plastic.
Bring a bottle of wine onboard. You cant bring bottled water on our ships. Carnival is banning customers from bringing bottled.
