Fred Olsens Boudicca built 1973 28372 gross tonnes 900 passengers. The Boudicca enjoyed a 42-year career that started with Royal Viking Line. Named after the heroic warrior queen of the British Iceni tribe Boudicca is a sleek and stylish cruise ship which features a number of large rooms and suites providing ultimate comfort for your cruise holiday.
And as with all ships in the Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has found a buyer for the classic BLACK WATCH and BOUDICCA ships as the company modernizes its fleet with the addition of the former ROTTERDAM and AMSTERDAM from Holland America Line. Boudicca a 177m long cruise liner was bought by the Suffolk-based cruise company in 2005 but was retired by the business in August 2020.
The line also operates its sister ship the former Royal Viking Star as the popular Black Watch. The ship was sold by Fred. Of note it was one of the first cruise ships to be lengthened.
